Messier 52 (also known as M 52 or NGC 7654) is an open cluster located in the constellation Cassiopeia.  It was discovered by Charles Messier in 1774.

NGC 7635, also called the Bubble Nebula, Sharpless 162, or Caldwell 11, is an emission nebula which lies nearby.  The "bubble" is created by the stellar wind from a central, massive, hot, magnitude 8.7 young star.

DATE/TIME:  The evening and early mornings of August 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th, 2011.

CAMERA:  Canon XSI, 450D modified

TELESCOPE:  Orion 100ED @ F/9

MOUNT:  Celestron CG-5GT.

ISO SETTING:  800

EXPOSURES:  47 frames for each image.

EXPOSURE LENGTH:  300sec.

TOTAL EXPOSURE LENGTH:  3hrs 55min. for each image.

SUBTRACTIONS: 10 dark frames and 10 bias frames.
